Né le: 22 Nov 1976 , Caroline du Sud, Usa  - Los Angeles, Usa 28 Aug 2020
Chadwick Boseman est né le 22 Novembre 1976 en Caroline du Sud. Il étudie à l'université d'Howard de Washington d'où il ressort diplomé, puis intègre la British American Drama Academy d'Oxford.
C'est seulement dans les années 2000 que Chadwick parvient a se faire une place, à travers différentes séries télés tel que: Manhattan, New York District / New York Police Judiciaire, Cold Case, Urgences, Lie To Me,The Glades, Lincoln Heights et Persons Unknown. Il realise deux courts-metrages "Blood Over a Broken Pawn" et "Heaven", puis obtient son premier grand rôle en 2008 dans The Express avant d'incarner Jackie Robinson le premier joueur de baseball afro-américain a avoir évolue en Ligue Majeure, une biopic réalise par Brian Helgeland au titre de 42 (2013). En 2014 Chadwick aura la chance de rentrer dans la peau d'une autre figure de la culture noire américaine celle du pape de la Funk "James Brown" dans Get on Up réalise par le réalisateur de La couleur des sentiments, Tate Taylor. |
