Descendant d'une lignee de catcheurs professionnels. Dwayne Johnson fait ses debuts sur le ring de la WWF en novembre 1996 sous le nom de Rocky Maivia et devient a 24 ans le plus jeune champion intercontinental. Apres une absence consecutive a une blessure, il revient sous le nom de The Rock. Il devient un personnage inevitable du petit ecran, multipliant, outre ses apparitions sur le ring, publicites et petits roles dans des series televisees (notamment un episode de Star Trek : Voyager et un autre de That 70's Show dans lequel il interprete son propre pere, le catcheur Rocky Johnson). |
