Synopsis:
Amos and Andy, the first all-black television series, thus shows as much of the dirty racism one would expect (big eyes rolling, stupidity, etc.) as of a certain progressivism. The original series had been broadcast on the radio from 1928 to the 1940s, and all the characters, although black, were played by whites, with a finesse that I let you guess.
