Born on: 28 Jan 1967 , Paris, France  -
Of Cameroonian origin, MC Jean Gab'1 (real name Charles M'Bouss) was born on January 28, 1967 in Paris. His parents divorced when he was 8 years old; his mother obtained custody, the father murdered him and his spouse in 1977, and sentenced him to 5 and a half years in prison for "crime of passion". Orphaned, Charles spent 10 years of his life at the DDASS where he was beaten and raped, as he recently explained in a text entitled "rage in the stomach", as well as 7 years in prison for robbery. (5 years in Germany and 2 in France). In the 1980s, he became a member of the collective "Les Requins Vicieux", which included Doeen Damage, or Lucien "Papalu", among others. In 1998, when he wanted to write a book, Gynéco pushed him to rap about its compilation "Dangerous liaisons". |
