Jessica Lucas was born in Vancouver, British Columbia on September 24, 1985. She is of mixed race and describes herself as half black and white. An actress since the age of seven, she began her apprenticeship at Children's Theatre Arts in Vancouver. She has won three acting awards in Canada for the plays Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs, Grease, Cinderella, Mousetrap and Music Medley. She has appeared regularly on TV shows such as The L Word, CSI and 90210 Beverly Hills New Generation. She also played the role of Lily in the science fiction film Cloverfield directed by J.J. Abrams. |
