ARNOLD JOHNSON

BIOGRAPHY:

Arnold Johnson appeared as George “Hutch” Hutton. an ex-con who moves into the Sanford Arms hotel in season 4 of Sanford and Son. A veteran character actor who played the lead role in the film Putney Swope, Arnold’s voice in the film his voice was dubbed by Robert Downey Sr. because Johnson could never remember his lines. He also had a recurring role as Fletcher, Mother Winslow’s second husband, on the sitcom Family Matters. He played a role in the 1987 film My Demon Lover. He also had a minor speaking part in Rocky (1976) and the 1993 film Menace II Society.
