BIOGRAPHY:
Christopher Maurice Brown, better known as Chris Brown is the youngest child of Joyce Hawkins and Clinton Brown. He began singing in his hometown church and also participated in talent shows.
Chris initially wanted to become a rapper, but while imitating Usher's performance on TV, his mother recognized his vocal talent and looked for an opportunity to get a record deal. But at the same time, he was facing family problems, between his parents' divorce and his mother's new boyfriend who beat him.
At the age of 13, the young singer was discovered by a production team at his father's gas station. He recorded a demo and sent it to various contacts in New York to try to get a contract.
