One of the most recognized and popular comedians on the road today, has proven himself to be one of the best employees in the entertainment industry. D.L. proves that he can do it all: film, television, and music. Having received a Grammy Award nomination in 2001 in the category of Comedy Album for "The Original Kings of Comedy". With an innate ability to make people laugh, D.L. Hughley began his career as a comedian in small clubs, not to mention appearances on HBO's Def Comedy. Eventually, his work on HBO rose quickly in popularity among the network's audiences, which gave him his first HBO Special.
In his spare time D.L. enjoys listening to jazz, swimming, and shopping with his family. He resides in the Southern California area with his wife LaDonna and three children.
