BIOGRAPHY:
DMX from his real name 'Earl Simmons' began his musical career in the 88s. After trying to sign with several record labels, he landed a deal with Def Jam in 1997.
DMX is also an actor. He was noticed in Belly by Hype Williams. In 2000, he participated in the film Romeo Must Die with Jet Li and Aaliyah, then in Out of Bounds, in which he shares the star with Steven Seagal, in 2001.
In 2004, he finally gets his recognition as an actor by taking the lead role in Never Die Alone, directed by Ernest Dickerson.
DMX is hospitalized in New York on April 2, 2021, following a heart attack after an overdose. The artist died on April 9, 2021 in the county of New York.
