Synopsis:
1973, Jim Ellis is an educated African-American who lives only for his love of swimming. One day Jim saves a dilapidated pool from destruction as a victim of poverty in Philadelphia’s poor neighborhoods. His dream can finally come true: he forms the first African-American swim team with teenagers he recruits on the streets.
