Rae Dawn Chong is an American actress born on February 28, 1961, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She is the daughter of comedian and actor Tommy Chong, well known for his role in the comedic duo Cheech & Chong, and Maxine Sneed. Rae Dawn has a diverse cultural heritage, including Chinese, Scottish, French, Cherokee, and African origins, giving her a unique and distinct beauty from an early age.
Starting her career in show business quite early, Rae Dawn quickly proved herself as a versatile actress, capable of embracing a wide variety of roles across different cinematic genres. She made her on-screen debut in the film "Quest for Fire" (1981), where she played the role of Ika.
