Born on: 11 Mar 1969 , Chicago  -
Terrence Dashon Howard finds his vocation as an artist by spending a lot of time with his grandmother: comedian Minnie Gentry. At the age of 15, he appeared for the first time on television in the famous "Cosby Show" series, then quickly in detective series such as "New York Police Blues" or "New York District" in 199O, and in many telefilms. Terrence Howard appeared for the first time in movies in Who's the man, but he didn't really attack the big screen until two years later, playing in Professor Holland (1995) with Richard Dreyfuss. He then made films such as Dead presidents with Chris Tucker, Big Mamma facing Martin Lawrence, or Biker Boyz with Laurence Fishburne. Terrence will be named best actor in 2006 for his remarkable role in the film Hustle & flow. |
