Synopsis:
West Indies, the Negroes Maroons of Liberty speaks of an island in the Caribbean Sea, of the history of the Caribbean peoples. Yesterday, it was slavery: the most robust men and women are uprooted by millions from the African continent, forcibly embarked in slave ships, sold in public squares. Today, another trafficking is taking place in the opposite direction: thousands of men and women are joining the ranks of other immigrants to escape unemployment and famine in their own countries.
