Descendiente de una línea de luchadores profesionales. Dwayne Johnson debutó en el ring de WWF en noviembre de 1996 como Rocky Maivia y a los 24 años se convirtió en el campeón intercontinental más joven. Después de una ausencia por una lesión, regresa bajo el nombre de The Rock. Se convirtió en un personaje inevitable en la pequeña pantalla, multiplicando, además de sus apariciones en el ring, la publicidad y pequeños papeles en series de televisión (incluyendo un episodio de Star Trek: Voyager y otro de That 70's Show en el que interpretó a su propio padre, el luchador Rocky Johnson). |
