BIOGRAFÍA:

Mos Def, cuyo nombre real es Dante Terrell Smith, es actor, rapero y productor. Mos Def comenzó su carrera musical con el efímero grupo Urban Thermo Dynamics junto a su hermano DCQ y su hermana Ces. A pesar de haber firmado con Payday Records, el grupo sólo grabó dos singles y su primer álbum, Manifest Destiny, no se publicó hasta 1994. En 1996, Mos Def surgió como artista en solitario, colaborando con De La Soul y Da Bush Babees, antes de lanzar su primer sencillo, "Universal Magnetic", que fue un éxito en el underground del hip-hop estadounidense.
