Bokeem a suscite l'interet de tout le pays dans son premier film "Strapped", la premiere realisation de l'acteur Forest Whitaker. Il a joue dans plusieurs comedies comme "Life" face a Eddie Murphy, "The Big Hit" et "Gridlock". L'acteur a recu des critiques favorables pour ses performances dans plusieurs films comme la production de Mario Van Peebles, "Panthers", "Jason's Lyrics", "Crooklyn" de Spike Lee. Bokeem a eu aussi joue dans des series TV primees "les Sopranos" et "City of Angels". C'est aussi un musicien de rock qui compose et joue de la guitare. Artiste complet, c'est un disciple des arts martiaux, il a etudie le Kung Fu en Extreme-Orient. |
