Acteur, chanteur, Keith David a dépensé sur la scène beaucoup de sa carrière, mais aussi dans les longs métrages et à la télévision. Originaire de New York, David a exécuté sa première représentation comme un enfant, en chantant pour le Chœur de l’Hôtel Ville et plus tard il rentre au Lycée prestigieux d'Arts du spectacle. Peu après avoir reçu un diplôme il étudie le théâtre. Et quelques années plus tard, il obtient son premier rôle cinématographique dans un film de John Carpenter "The Thing". Mais David alterne entre le cinéma et la télévision. Il a paru dans cinq films en 1988, y compris "Bird" de Clint Eastwood ou il a donne a une performance mémorable. Mais il est aussi connu pour sa voix qu'il prête pour de nombreux dessin anime tel "les Gargouilles" de Disney, et la version anglaise de "Princesse Mononoke". |
