Né le: 30 Oct 1970 , New York  -
Nia Long a commencé sa carrière de comédienne à l'age de 15 ans dans des séries. Après ses débuts dans le film de John Singleton "BOYZ'N THE HOOD", en 1997, elle a tenu le rôle principal dans la comédie romantique de Théodore Witcher LOVE JONES avec Larenz Tate. Elle a ensuite joue dans SOUL FOOD, FRIDAY de F. Gary Gray, MADE IN AMERICA de Richard Benjamin, avec Will Smith et Whoopi Goldberg. C'est ainsi qu'elle est devenue Lisa, la fiancée de Will Smith dans la sitcom a succès Le Prince de Bel Air . En 2001, elle est citée pour son interprétation au NAACP Image Award pour la meilleure actrice et ainsi qu'au Blockbuster Award. Puis en 2004 elle reçoit le NAACP Image de la meilleure actrice de série Tv pour son interprétation. Maman d'un garçon depuis 2000 d'un mariage rate avec Masai Zhivago Dorsey, Nia Long arrive très bien a concilier son role de mère et d'actrice. |
