En 2010, Zendaya decroche le role principal de Rocky Blue (Raquel), aux cotes de Bella Thorne (alias CeCe Jones dans la serie), dans Shake It Up, une serie de Disney Channel. Zendaya Coleman est egalement l'une des Disney Stars les plus riches, avec un total de 60 000 $ par episode dans la serie Shake It Up. Bella Thorne et Zendaya en 2011. En 2011, Zendaya interprete Dig Down Deeper a la parade du Macy's Thanksgiving Day.
