BIOGRAPHIE:
Mary Jane Blige, commence avec la musique dès son plus jeune âge, elle est la chanteuse principale dans la chorale de l'église qu'elle fréquente et à 7 ans, elle gagne un concours de chanson en interprétant Respect d'Aretha Franklin.
Mary J Blige a également réussi sa transition vers la télévision et le cinéma, avec des rôles secondaires dans des films tels que Prison Song (2001), Rock of Ages (2012), Betty and Coretta (2013), Black Nativity (2013), sa percée dans le rôle de Florence Jackson, nominée aux Oscars et aux Golden Globes, dans Mudbound (2017), et sa participation au rôle de la chanteuse de jazz Dinah Washington dans le biopic Respect (2021). En 2019, elle joue le rôle de Cha-Cha dans la première saison de la série télévisée Netflix The Umbrella Academy.
