BIOGRAPHY:

Michael Kenneth Williams was born in Brooklyn, New York and began his artistic career at the age of 22 as a professional dancer. After appearing in several music videos, Michael decided to get serious about acting: he has performed with the MAMA Theatre Company, the prestigious National Black Theatre Company and the Theater for a New Generation directed by Mel Williams. He made his film debut in the urban film "BULLET" thanks to Tupac Shakur who wanted him by his side. Michael was spotted in Martini Scorsese's Bringing out the Dead and went on to star in several independent films such as Broken Even and Mug Shot. He also starred in Antoine Fuqua's Brooklyn Finest with Don Cheadle and Wesley Snipes. His television credits include Law and Order, Third Watch and a role on the cult series The Sopranos and The Wire.
