BIOGRAFÍA:

Michael Kenneth Williams nació en Brooklyn, Nueva York, y comenzó su carrera artística a los 22 años como bailarín profesional. Tras aparecer en varios vídeos musicales, Michael decidió dedicarse en serio a la actuación: ha actuado con la MAMA Theatre Company, la prestigiosa National Black Theatre Company y el Theater for a New Generation dirigido por Mel Williams. Debutó en el cine en la película urbana "BULLET" gracias a Tupac Shakur, que quería que participara en la película. Michael se dejó ver en Bringing out the Dead, de Martini Scorsese, y pasó a protagonizar varias películas independientes, como Broken Even y Mug Shot. También protagonizó Brooklyn Finest, de Antoine Fuqua, con Don Cheadle y Wesley Snipes. Sus créditos televisivos incluyen Ley y Orden, Tercera Guardia y un papel en las series de culto Los Soprano y The Wire.
