BIOGRAPHY:
Robinson was a music teacher at Horace Mann Elementary School in Chicago and Henry Eggers Middle School in Hammond, Indiana, before beginning an acting career in 2001.
It wasn't until 2005 that he became known to the general public with the role of Darryl Philbin in the series The Office. His character, secondary will be considerably developed during the following seasons.
In the cinema, he gradually imposes himself as a sure comic value. By participating in several productions of Judd Apatow, he manages to make himself known: first a simple appearance in 2007 in En cloque, mode d'emploi, then a secondary role in 2008 in the parody Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, then by being one of the two killers chasing the characters played by Seth Rogen and James Franco in Délire Express.
