BIOGRAFÍA:
Robinson fue profesor de música en la Escuela Primaria Horace Mann en Chicago y en la Escuela Media Henry Eggers en Hammond, Indiana, antes de empezar una carrera de actor en 2001.
No fue hasta 2005 que se hizo un nombre con el papel de Darryl Philbin en la serie The Office. Su carácter secundario se desarrollará considerablemente durante las siguientes temporadas.
En el cine, poco a poco se impone como un valor cómico seguro. Al participar en varias producciones de Judd Apatow, logró hacerse un nombre: primero con una simple aparición en 2007 en En cloque, mode d'emploi, luego con un papel secundario en 2008 en la parodia Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, y luego siendo uno de los dos asesinos que persiguen a los personajes interpretados por Seth Rogen y James Franco en Délire Express.
