Born on: 28 Jul 1984 , Los Angeles, California, Usa  -
John David Washington is the son of actor Denzel Washington and actress and singer Pauletta Washington. He received a soccer scholarship to Morehouse College, class of 2006. He then played for the NFL Europe, in the Sea Devils team of Hamburg (Germany) during the 2007 season as Running Back. From 2015, he plays one of the main roles in the TV series Ballers broadcast on HBO. He went on to play a variety of roles, including in Love Beats Rhymes by rapper RZA. In 2018, he plays the lead role in BlacKkKlansman: I've infiltrated Spike Lee's Ku Klux Klan, presented in competition at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival and which will reveal him to the general public. In 2020, he plays the lead role in Christopher Nolan's Tenet and in Born to Be Murdered, an Italian thriller alongside Alicia Vikander and Boyd Holbrook. |
