BIOGRAFÍA:
Originario de Guadalupe, JM Martial nació en Madagascar. Comenzó a actuar a los 33 años, pero en 1977 dio sus primeros pasos como actor en "Moon Raker", un James Bond, cuando aún era estudiante.... De 1978 a 1985 vivió en Guyana y luego regresó a Francia.
Es invitado a la Comedia Francesa y toca: Le marchand de Venise de SHAKESPEARE, Le Balcon de Jean GENET en el Théâtre de l'Odéon. 1992 Es invitado a La Scala de Milán y toca en Oberon de Karl Maria WEBER. Trabaja con Jean-Luc LAGARCE, Gabriel GARANT, Luca RONCONNI, Lluis PASQUAL,...
Preocupado por establecer un vínculo con las Indias Occidentales, actúa en Martinica con Michèle Césaire, enseña teatro en la Guayana Francesa y Guadalupe, en el Artchipel (escenario nacional) de Basse-Terre (asistente de Philippe Adrien).
En 1997, creó la compañía L'Autre Souffle. En 1998 adaptó, coprodujo y dirigió Liens de sang de Athol FUGARD en el Artchipel Scène Nationale de Guadeloupe en Basse-Terre antes de reanudar el espectáculo para 56 actuaciones en la Cartoucherie de Vincennes y en gira.
