Nichelle Nichols comenzó su carrera como actriz en la serie de televisión "El teniente" en 1964. Se convirtió en Uhura en el primer episodio de la serie, Maniobras falsas. Tras tres temporadas de la serie original, apareció en las seis primeras películas. Además de actuar, ha grabado discos, ha escrito relatos de ciencia ficción y ha trabajado para la NASA en el reclutamiento de mujeres de minorías raciales. |
