BIOGRAFÍA:
Nacida en Houma, Luisiana, Quvenzhané mintió sobre su edad cuando se presentó al casting para el papel de Hushpuppy porque sólo tenía cinco años y la edad mínima era de seis. En 2013, con nueve años, se convirtió en la actriz más joven de la historia en ser nominada al Oscar a la mejor actriz por su interpretación en Bestias del sur salvaje (2012). En 2013 se la vio en la película Twelve Years a Slave, así como en el remake del musical Annie (2014), por cuyo papel volvió a recibir el aplauso del público y una nominación al Globo de Oro a la mejor actriz de comedia o musical.
