BIOGRAFÍA:
Tracee Joy Silberstein, conocida profesionalmente como Tracee Ellis Ross, es una actriz, cantante, presentadora de televisión, productora y directora estadounidense. Es conocida por sus papeles protagonistas en las series de televisión Girlfriends (2000-2008) y Black-Ish (2014-2022). Es propietaria de Pattern Beauty, una línea de cuidado del cabello rizado.
Es hija de la actriz y artista de la Motown Diana Ross y de Robert Ellis Silberstein. Comenzó a actuar en películas independientes y programas de variedades. Presentó la revista de cultura pop The Dish en Lifetime. De 2000 a 2008, interpretó el papel principal de Joan Clayton en la serie de comedia de UPN/CW Girlfriends, por la que recibió dos premios NAACP Image Awards a la mejor actriz en una serie de comedia. También apareció en las películas Hanging Up (2000), I-See-You.Com (2006) y Daddy's Little Girls (2007), antes de volver a la televisión como la doctora Carla Reed en la comedia de BET Reed Between the Lines (2011), por la que recibió su tercer NAACP Image Award.
